privacy

This is my site (I'm Paul; I make music as mana). I keep as little about you as I can, I never sell it, and there are no ads or tracking cookies here.

Visiting

I count visits with my own small stats tool. It sees the page you're on, the site that sent you, your rough area (city and region), the kind of device, how fast the page loaded, and which parts of the page you looked at or tapped. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store your IP address, doesn't follow you to other sites, and skips you entirely if your browser sends Global Privacy Control. It never sees anything you type.

What you give me

• Mailing list: your email and when you confirmed it. You confirm by email before anything is sent, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Lessons: your name, email, the time you booked, your message, and what you paid.
• Shop: your name, email, what you bought, and for merch, your shipping address.
• Memberships: your email, your plan and whether it's active.
• Support: the amount, and your name, email and note if you add them.
• Comments: the name you choose and what you wrote. Your name shows with your comment; your email never does.

I use this to run what you asked for: your lesson, your order, your membership, the emails you signed up for. I don't share it with anyone except the services below, and only for that.

Payments

Payments go through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch this site; I only see what was paid and when.

Cookies

One, and only if you sign in to your account: mana_fan keeps you signed in. Nothing is set just for visiting.

Who helps run it

• Vercel hosts the site.
• Neon holds the database.
• Stripe takes payments.
• Resend sends the emails.
• Cloudflare runs the domain, my inbox and file storage (music, downloads, images).

How long I keep it

Mailing list addresses until you unsubscribe. Lessons, orders and payments as long as I need them for my records and taxes. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.

Your say

From your account you can download everything I keep about you, or delete your account. Deleting removes you from the list, your comments and your account; lessons and orders stay in my records for taxes, but without your name, email, notes or address. You can also just email me to see, fix or delete anything. Wherever you live, you get the same rights the California and EU privacy rules give.

Kids

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly keep anything about them.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, I'll update the date above, and email the list if it's big.

Reaching me

Use the email in the Booking section. It's me who reads it, and I answer within a few days.
